Ever thought of being a Parish Councillor?

Would you like to get involved and make a difference? Our mission statement is 'Encouraging & building a clean safe and friendly community, respecting history and supporting future generations.' Now here is how you can, it is local election time and this is where you can make a difference for your community as a volunteer Carharrack Parish Councillor.

The lead up to Polling Day on the 1st May has started.

Candidate packs are now available from the clerk so please email [email protected] if you would like to receive a nomination pack.

By Wednesday 2nd April 4pm - Deadline for submission of candidate nomination papers and withdrawl of any nomination.

Thursday 3rd April - Publish statements of persons nominated, no later than 4pm.

Wednesday 23rd April - Publish notice of contested and uncontested Election.

Thursday 1st May - Polling Day Tuesday 6th May - New councillors take office.
